New Trail

Indi and I stumbled over a new trail on Mt Painter. The steep rocky eastern trail has been replaced by a meandering route that contours and slowly climbs the eastern side of the slope joining up at the southern lookout near Pippa's rock! It is a beautiful trail with lovely views and makes a great loop.

Orienteering Overload

 It's been orienteering overload here recently!

First a weekend at Broulee running both days in the complex sand dune map. Although the weather wasn't great we still managed a swim and attempted surf! Katy, still on restricted exercise, walked the shortest hard course winning both days!

Next the Saturday morning metro series began under grey skies at Weston Park.

Then the following weekend another double header. The Saturday event was at Wee Jasper - a NOL event in which Ella ran for the Cockies in W20E. She placed mid field and was happy with her result. 

The Sunday event was a NOL relay and a first for our family where two members were donning the gold and blue Cockie top - Ella and Andy! Both did well with their teams placing 3rd.
