Third Time Lucky

The possums have now twice demolished our new vegie seedlings all except the tomatoes. I have just bought our third lot of zucchinis, lebanese cuecumber, basil and snow peas. and as I am working tomorrow it will be up to Andy and the girls to plant them.

Last weekend after speaking to our neighbour we replaced the poa grasses between the driveways. Having planted these grasses last spring, we were really disappointing with them as they only grew a little but looked more like weeds. Although we purchased them from the Botanical garden spring sale, I somehow think someone may have mucked up! In their place we have chosen to plant dianella tasmanica, a flax lily, which is doing exceptionally well in the backgarden. At least they should be well watered with all the rain this month (55mm).
