Dress Up 40th

Andy's little sister turned 40th recently and to celebrate this occasion she decided to have a party. A dress up party with the theme 'What I want(ed) to be when I grow up.' In our house ideas were tossed around....Ella randomly decided she wanted to be a Japanese teacher; Katy chose to be an acrobat (wavering between a dance teacher, a gymnast, a piano teacher); I decided on a vet and Andy who was away in the US made his choice the morning of the party possibly swayed by choosing something easy to pull together in the least amount of time - a chef.

The weather was perfect for the outdoor evening celebration with Patrick's band playing in the background.  There were lots of laughs and fancy costumes! Vets and nurses were the most popular with several sportspersons (soccer, cricket, AFL, cricketer) coming in third. Other costumes included pretty woman (Cathy), zoo keeper (Andy's dad), librarian (Andy's mum), mountain adventurer (Susie), scientist, chemist, truckie, airforce medico, builder, ballerina, policeman, maths teacher,

A fun night had by all!
