Happy Birthday to Katy! Our littlest cherub turned 8! She was thrilled to receive her own camera (from us) and rollerblades (from Ella). As it was an early work and school morning, things were all a little rushed. However we did enjoy playing her new game Baba Yaga that evening.
Katy decided to have a sleepover as her party. It was a make-your-own-pizza with a snake birthday cake for dessert. While the pizzas were in the oven cooking, the girls suspiciously retreated to the front room.
Unbeknownst to us, they had planned (at school) a midnight feast with each bringing treats to share!! I discovered them dividing their stash which included a pile for Ella! Of course there was buckleys chance than any of them would make it to midnight and so the treats were mostly consumed during the post dinner movie.
