Inspired by our Japanese trip which seems so long ago now, Ella tried her hand at making gyozas, Japanese dumplings. We had to settle using won ton wrappers as they were the only ones I could find at the last minute at Coles.
The mixture was simple - pork mince mushed up with napa cabbage, ginger, garlic and shallots. Carefully placed into a wrapper which was then folded and pinched to seal in the mixture. The gyozas were firstly fried and then steamed for a few minutes.
The end result was YUM! Definitely a recipe worth keeping and cooking again!
