Were held at Majura Pines with the assembly area based in the girl guide camp, Innabaanya. The day was perfect for an orienteering carnival. There were around 150 kids from 17 schools participating.Ella ran in the 10yr girls. She had a good run making only one slight error coming 3rd behind Aoife and Mia. Only a minute separated the three. It was lovely to see them up getting their medals together.
Meanwhile Katy and Mira ran together. Unfortunately I put them in the wrong lane which meant they completed the 9 yr individual course instead of the slightly harder 10 yr pair course. Thankfully Cathy adjusted their time placing them mid field. Despite this hiccup they seemed to have lots of fun together.
