Kianinny Revisited

With memories still fresh from their fantastic time on Year 4 camp, Max and Ella were eager to return to Kianinny plus it was only a stones throw away from On the Perch.

We found a spot for a picnic lunch by the pond before undertaking the Wombat Holes mini golf course. What an awesome and interesting course! Puts most mini golf courses I've done to shame! Thought the wombat hole shortcuts for younger players was a brilliant idea.

Once the 18 holes were completed it was back to the pond for some free canoeing! Lots of laps, lots of swapping canoeing partners and a few canoe rescues! A really enjoyable way to finish the afternoon at Kianinny.

All hot and bothered, we returned to our deluxe cabin, grabbed our swimmers and walked to the beach. The waves were great for body surfing and Ella managed to catch her first wave without a board!

The next morning, after packing up we ventured back to the beach once again for our final dip and body surfing session! Our summer holidays had come to an end and the new school year was just around the corner.
