Learning to Sail

Next on the summer school holiday programs was a week of sailing on the waters of Lake Burley Griffin run by the Canberra Yacht Club.

Luckily on the firs day, the sailing club had know about possibility of the impending storm and therefore taken all their equipment and children inside. Again the golf sized balls caused a wave of destruction - the yacht club had flooding in the roof which caused a loss of power and all the cars had smashed windscreens and panels. By the afternoon, the boats were back on the water!

Both of the girls mostly enjoyed the experience and having warm weather certainly helped.
