Day 2 skiing

Our gang was a bit disjointed today. Katy struggled for a variety of reasons to get up; Cath was sick; Aoife was up early and eager; Al, Mira and I were somewhere in-between! Aoife left by herself to do laps on Blue calf; Al and Mira were out next; Katy eventually decided that she would ski and Cath emerged from her sick bed just as we were leaving.

Conditions were less than ideal so Katy and I did laps of Freedom waiting for Al, Mira and Aoife to return from their mini adventure. By that stage, Cath had made a quick recovery and decided to come out too however as we all converged at the top of freedom, we all discovered that we were all freezing! It was a quick ski back to the lodge!

Following showers to warm up, we wandered down to Basecamp for a delicious lunch! Funny face swapping filter photos were taken of mums and daughters before Cath and Aoife headed off home. Al, Mira, Katy and I enjoyed one more night relaxing in the lodge before leaving first thing in the morning in time to get home for a birthday party!
