Nat is at a conference for most of the weekend, leaving me to hold the fort at home for two days in a row. And the mid-winter temperatures means that I can't just turf the kids into the back garden to entertain themselves. So we've kept ourselves occupied with bike rides to jammo; coffee with jase, abby & zoe; eating; cooking; playing jumpies on the couch and ... magic carpet rides.
A magic carpet ride involves putting Katy onto a sheet or blanket, perhaps with a few toys to keep her company, and pulling her around until she falls off. Then Katy is placed (gently or otherwise) back on the blanket and we start again. Good fun for all, and affords me valuable newspaper-reading time.
