Honeymoon Pool

Needing a change from the beach, we opted for an inland adventure close to Bunbury. Honeymoon Pool is an area on the Collie River near Dardanup and not well known by google who tried to send us down the one way road to get there!

Another picnic lunch, this time perched by the river watching young people jumping from an overhanging tree. The campground was full which is not really that surprising seeing though it was between Christmas and New years.

Trying to avoid the crowds, we followed a little path along the river looking for an appropriate spot to cool off. The river meandered, often the river bank was too steep. Eventually we came across a good spot. The water was very refreshing - a tad colder than Adrian's 'heated' swimming pool at the caravan park! We hyperventilated submerging and our legs were soon numb!!
