Firstly she placed 4th in her school cross country run which meant she qualified for the Belconnen Region cross country carnival. Running alongside 4 other friends from Aranda, Katy had a strong finish, storming down the final straight piping another competitor on the line for 18th although the finish officials recorded her as 19th.
Indi was lucky to have a batch of freshly baked dog cookies made by Katy. They went down a treat!
And most exciting of all is that Katy turned 12! An overall quiet affair thanks to her birthday landing in the middle of a school week!
