Around the House

Progress on the bench seat top. One step closer to being completed!

Mastering the sourdough baking

Unusual appearance in the garden. This red star shaped fungus sprouted in the front garden. An internet search informs me that fungus is commonly known as the Anemone Stinkhorn or starfish fungus. It begins as a white egg like sac before erupting into this striking star shape. Apparently it is quite stinky which helps to attract flies. As quickly as it appeared, the fungus withered up and disappeared.

The garden continues to flourish -
