Advent calendar was created in a night and with a night to spare! This year I decided that the girls would be more involved in the choosing / giving process. They were required to think up 5 'gifts' for each other plus 3 extra together / family ideas they would like to have in the calendar. Interestingly each girl suggested doing an activity with a friend; a piece of jewellery; $$. It worked well.
Of course the first day is predictable - Let's decorate and Ella didn't want to go first but was required to so that the specific girls days were opened by the right girl. Turns out that the first day wasn't quite as predictable as normal because Indi got the first gift!! The poor reindeer didn't last long!
