After filling our tummies we continued on hoping to see the ruins of the Round house through the trees but turned out the forest was too thick. To keep ourselves going we climbed gates, spotted blue arrows and made dandelion wishes! We emerged from the woods on the edge of Bladon village, apparently famous for the grave of Sir Winston Churchill, not that we visited it. From here the footpath wandered back through fields to our starting point.
Tuesday and Wednesday were uneventful - school and work as normal. On Thursday afternoon though, we packed the car, picked up the girls and headed off towards Norwich for our next adventure....
