After consultation with the insulation guys, we have decided to replace the whole lot rather than just over the extension. The old insulation was sucked out of the roof thanks to a massive noisy vacuum cleaner and new insulation was partly laid. This process took all of Friday and half of Saturday.
The windows were added... and also one of the skylights.
But most exciting was the removal of several interior walls (the laundry and our bedroom).
