Live Shows

Paige, one of Andy's work colleagues, invited the girls to watch her silks performance in the May Showcase of the studio she trains at. It was to be her last performance before returning back home to the US a few weeks later.

The showcase included performances by young kids, teens and also adults who swung, twisted and turned on a variety of apparatus. Paige's silks performance was to the tune Singing in the Rain. The final act was the whole crew performing to Thriller! It was a fantastic show and the girls thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Ella scored a lucky door prize of a winter warmer - a piece of fabric which fits around your waist. She was happy!

Last year, Grandad took the girls to the Webers Circus as a school holiday activity. Spotting the tents next to Lake Ginninderra, they were keen to go again and convinced us to take them. Aoife and Lily also came along with their respective families. The show was fairly subdued with the juggler and the wheel of death taking honours for most amazing acts.
