Knitting Ambitions

After making numerous teddy scarves and rugs, then moving on to scarves and beanies for family and friends, Ella's knitting ambitions have continued to rise. She has now got her sights set on a jumper!!

Finding a good simple pattern and choosing the wool wasn't too hard. She had a bit of a false start as we hadn't paid close enough attention to the pattern which changed needle sizes once the ribbing rows were complete. As it turns out we had nearly every sized needle except the one she needed. Luckily Nana and Ella found a spare half an hour to nip down to Lincraft and buy some more.

In three weeks, Ella has managed to complete the back of her jumper which looks super (including the must have mistakes!) Although it is size 10, the jumper is very long but will be great as a dress jumper over some leggings....just perfect for a French winter!

Meanwhile, Ella convinced me that I should knit a jumper too. I'm a little behind her....struggling to find time....
