Canberra Show

We thought we'd gotten away with it for another year but turns out we didn't! After Katy's futsal grand final the four of us made our way to Epic to tackle the Canberra Show. The heat and dust always seems so much worse at these types of events and today didn't disappoint. Anyway we slowly made our way around - watching some woodchopping, bull showing, dog herding, farm animal displays, dog fly ball competition before stopping for a much needed lunch break.

From there we wandered along pausing at the various stalls, bought Pippa some expensive biscuits then found ourselves at sideshow alley. The girls were captivated by the rides. We all went on the flying chair which nicely cooled us down while providing a great view over Epic. The girls chose one more ride to go on together without us - the Gravitron. After several minutes they emerged bubbling with excitement! By this stage we were all pretty happy to head home grabbing an ice cream on the way out. All in all a good money sapping afternoon!
