A first for our family - taking the dog on holiday! We left Canberra bound for Fingal Bay in search for warmer weather and waves! Unfortunately we found neither. Sydney and the Central Coast were in the grips of a major flooding disaster. The 5hr drive took us nearly 8 hours - stop for lunch, car accidents, terrible conditions and detours due to flooding.
We'd heard many great things about Fingal Bay from Cath who has spent numerous summer holidays and Christmases at the bay. We were looking forward to spending a few days with Cath, Eoin, Aoife and Leo at Cath's mum's house in Fingal Bay.
Indi was a great traveller taking up numerous sleeping position and seeking cuddles at regular intervals! We arrived after dark and spent the evening settling into our new abode.
