We changed things around today. Adrian and I ran (if you can call it running - I was dragging the chain pretty well) over the Franklin River and through the forest to Monastery Landing. Andy, Heather and the girls drove out there. When we did rock up Ella and Heather were looking for fairies in the tingle trees! After hanging around for a while, I swapped places with Andy - he ran back with Adrian and I drove with Heather.
Then over to Coalmine Beach for a dip in some very shallow water before checking out the fish and chips options at Walpole. Unfortunately there are no fish and chip shops at Walpole so bought some meat for BBQ dinner. We did find a cafe for lunch though that sold reasonable coffee. Ella was playing with Katy's hat which was very entertaining for all of us.
