Sunday at Nornalup

Green's Pool was on the agenda today. Located about 25mins east of Nornalup, this area rates as one of the most spectacular beaches we have been to. If you are ever in the area we would highly recommend going here. Crystal clear water, white sandy beach and big scattered granite boulders - this little lagoon was perfect. Just a pity about the onshore breeze which made conditions a little chilly.

Swimming makes you hungry, so we stopped at the Fudge Factory for some yummy raspberry ice cream on te way home!

The afternoon trip was into the Tingle Forest to do the famous Tree Top Walk. This 400m loop is a suspended walkway that rises up to 40m above the Karri and Tingle forest. Viewing the canopy from here is beautiful. Adjacent to this is an area of veteran Tingle trees known as the Ancient Empire. A 600m boardwalk winds it's way not only through this wonderful forest but also through some of the trees themselves!
