Santa Competes at Little A's!

The final meet of the season is always a highlight due to the appearance of Santa with his sack of lollies! Poor Santa ran 23 back to back races varying in length from 50m- 200m in 30+°C! He looked hot.

Another surprise visitor was Grandad who made a last minute visit from Perth. He really enjoys watching the girls participate and no doubt brings back many memories of our years spent at Len Shearer Reserve as part of Melville Athletics Centre. Both Mum and Dad were heavily involved but mostly I remember Dad as Arena Manger coordinating and announcing events. My brother and I competed for Kardinya in our lime green tops.
