Short but Sweet

Yep Dad decided to book his ticket on the Monday morning and arrived in Canberra the same night! The girls were so excited about seeing Grandad. Katy woke early (5.30am) every morning and ventured into Grandad's bed for a cuddle and chat!

The week was busy with last week of school stuff and general work schedules but Grandad just rolled with it all and joined in. We took him out for dinner to a new (for us) Pizza/pasta place in Deakin - a great hit. He picked up the girls and took them for ice cream! Katy was happy to have us both attend her class end of year party. Grandad came to little athletics, Andy's work xmas bbq, had numerous coffees and completed a few jobs like patching the back step and building Ikea stuff with Andy!

And true to his promise, he is returning again next week.
