Biggest Day of the Season

Who would have thought that we'd be skiing our biggest day (in vertical meters) in September but thats exactly what both Andy and I managed! We were confined to Blue Calf as the Blue Cow T-Bar was being repaired and the Freedom Chair also had issues. With the kids opting out once again after an hour or so of skiing, Andy, Cath, Al and I were left to our own devices!!  It's amazing how much skiing one can do. Normally I avoid Blue Calf due to the ingrained memories of trying to ski on icy conditions but the snow was lovely today! Freedom did finally open so we explored the multitude of runs down. The clouds kept blowing in threatening to spoil our time out but never getting so bad that we couldn't see. A truly awesome day skiing.
