Succulent Overload

Inspired by the recent end of year teacher present making, Ella was terrarium obsessed. Firstly I asked her to fix my terrarium. It was getting a little yucky around the edges and the plants were either dead, dying or taking over! A thorough clean and replanting was necessary. We selected mainly succulents and it now looks great once again!

Next on the list was to recycle an old drum that Ella scavenged from Mr's A, the music teacher at Aranda PS who was doing her end of year clean out. Ella liked the pearly edge and thought that it would make a lovely pot for some plants. We managed to take one side off, line with builders plastic, fill with soil and plant. It looks awesome and positioned nicely into the unused  corner of our back deck. Already she has had several comments from visitors.
