First Harvest

The dwarf nectarine tree was netted at spring and by Summer was laden with fruit. Of course the fruit from one's garden is never as perfect as the shops although carefully positioned you can make it look like it is.

In reality most of the nectarines had bad bits on them. Thus our nectarines aren't great as a fresh fruit but rather we slice them, throw away the bad bits and stew the rest. They are delicious for breakfast with yogurt or as a dessert with cream or ice cream!
