Just the Three of Us

Holiday time has arrived! We departed from Canberra minus a child and masks - how novel! Ella remains in Canberra, staying the night at Nana and Grandpa's. Together with Nana, Ella flies over to Adelaide to compete at the 2022 Australian All Schools Athletics Competition participating in Hammer, Discus and Javelin.

Meanwhile we arrive in Perth to find Grandad patiently waiting. Then waiting some more while our bags eventually arrive. After saying hello to Nana, it was straight to bed as the 3 hr time difference meant it was 1am for us!

Next morning we started the day right by a visit to South Beach where Andy, Katy and I swam out to the pontoon. Grandad stood watching on the sandy shore not even keen to dip his toes in! Post swim we stopped at the Roasting Warehouse for breakfast and coffee. The rest of the day was spent shopping mostly in preparation for our SW adventure.
