We were woken relatively early for a Sunday with an excited (probably still from the previous nights glow in the dark antics) 8 year old girl! Actually I couldn't tell who was more excited - the birthday girl herself or Andy. You see since the start of the year, we are extremely lucky to now own a share in Doorack Lodge at Guthega and therefore have booked a week in August to go skiing. So it seemed obvious to kit out the girls with snow gear and their birthday provides the best opportunity to do so.Ella was pretty happy when she unwrapped her new downhill skis, boots, helmet and googles! We can't wait to have some snow adventures.
Ella was also stoked to receive her own puffy (according to her everyone has a puffy except her...) thanks to Nana and Grandad and Uncle Daryl and Aunty Michelle for that one.
