Renos - Day 42.1

Nana and Grandpa arrived back home on Saturday night after a two week stint wandering around the Kimberleys. The cold Canberra conditions were a little bit of a shock to their bodies which had been enjoying temperatures in the low 30's!

Luckily for me it meant they were happy to remain inside with the heater cranked up and watch over the girls thus providing me with an opportunity to finish off the painting. I headed over to the house, collecting a warm coffee on the way - an attempt to loiter a little longer for the temperature to get a little closer to the magical minimum of 10°C required for painting according to the tin.

A bit more stalling at the house by feeding the chickens, collecting several more items from our stuff,  getting out all the painting things and final prep of the surface. Without any distractions of young children, I was able to complete the window in just over an hour before cleaning up. Another job to tick off the list (although it will reappear in several weeks time ready for another coat!)
