A recent email from Apple informed us that they would no longer be printing their iPhoto Photobooks. Since Ella was born, we have created an annual photobook (or two). However prior to 2007, all of our photos were stored like many other peoples in photo albums that seem to take up heaps of space.
As a result of post knee op boredom some 6 years ago, I had undertaken the transformation from photo albums to scanning in old photos and creating photobooks. Thus in our iPhoto account there were nearly 10 old albums waiting print. Why hadn't we printed them already? Well mainly it's to do with cost as well as a general lack of urgency to print them.
So since the email arrived, we've had to make a decision - either print them or let them lapse and see what happens. We decided seeing though they were all already done, we should bite the bullet and print them over the course of the month before the deadline arrived. Thinking that it would be a simple task of uploading them, we began with the first one only to discover that due to several computer upgrades, the photobooks needed tweaking and so the annoying editing began.
I am pleased to say that we managed to recalibrate and have printed all of the said photo books plus the 2017 which hadn't even been started! I say job well done.
