SW Tour - Day 9

The morning began with an exploration of the town of Denmark. Coffee was enjoyed although Andy felt a little left out as he was not sporting a tea cosy beanie on his head! We left the girls to check out the local thrift shops while we headed to the IGA for the essentials!

We were only in the camper for a short drive before coming across the Denmark Chocolate Company. The girls were pumped for this visit! A well maintained garden trail explained the history of chocolate - a very interesting read.

But we weren't here to read about chocolate...we wanted to taste it!! Inside a lovely lady chatted to us about the chocolate and how we should go about the tasting plate! We all had different favourites. A few purchases were made and we were on our way as the influx of tourist began!

Next stop on the itinerary was Green's Pool - a favourite! Despite the coolish weather we all got in and swam across to the other side of the lagoon. On our return the girls climbed one of the rocks and jumped off. The granite slabs provided much needed warmth once we were got out!

Then I cajoled the girls and Andy into recreating a few photos. We previously visited Green's Pool in November 2009 with Adrian and Heather! Katy was 6 months old and Ella was 2.5 yrs old!

Feeling peckish after leaving Green's Pool we decided to stop at Sly Fox - a diner in the middle of nowhere! So glad we did. What a fun place. Full of American Hollywood paraphernalia we enjoyed a lunch of burgers and chips! From here it was a short drive to Peaceful Bay our home for the next two nights.
